What Is Justice ?
A Writing By Texas Death Row Prisoner Jimmy Jackson

I want to know what is justice ?  Is justice putting humans in office to murder other humans?  Is justice murdering young children and young adults, that has not reach the legal age to vote, or buy beer or cigarettes, is this really justice?  What really is justice ?  Is justice killing human beings for political power, not caring whether the accused is innocent or not.   Now, check out this law, one can be innocent of a crime, but as long as he/she recieves a fair trial by their peers.  How can one recieve a fair trial by his / her peers when one has not committed a crime?  Now if this is real justice, what is injustice?  There is no justice for the poor and uneducated humans that live within this rich world.  The rich make the laws as well as break the laws, and if the laws don't suit them (the rich) then they change them too, and nothing can be done about it.  We the poor and uneducated keep giving the rich more power to hang us with and we don't realise what has happened until its entirely too late.  Our son, daughter, nephew, niece,  mother, father, uncle, cousin, is on Death Row then thats whene we start protesting against the death penalty and its evil ways. Many lives have been lost within this injustice system , when will we realize that the more time we waste, more innocent people will be murdered by this system that we support.

One can't begin to comprehend the pain that one endures by being on Death Row for 5 or more years.  Just sitting here awaiting this corrupt system to take their beloved life.  I can't speak for all within this system but I can speak myself, when I came out of my mothers womb I was a warrior, and if I happen to be taken out of this world, I will go out as I came in as a warrior.

I could never see myself walking out of this cell, knowing that these folks are about to do bodily harm to .  I can accept a regular Death by natural causes, but I could never accept this system taking my Precious Life.  My life's worth fighting for; if this makes me inhuman then I suppose I ain't human.  After seeing what people in power consider justice I rather find another justice system  because what they (system) calls justice is ludicrous and out of character even for themselves.

When does the system begin to realize that kiling human beings ain't the answer, killing does not solve any problems, killing just creates more problems.  I have been living withing this cruel unjust system for 13 years, thats almost all my life, what more do the system want out of me?

I have suffered enough, so have my family and friends.  If giving my life would change the outcome for the rest of the human beings that exist on Death Row, I would be more than happy to do so.  One should not have to endure so much emotional and physical pain for something he / she has done over 10 years ago.  Why can't one be in population for the rest of his / her life?  I don't live on Death Row, I only breathe on Death Row.  How could one live on Death Row when life does not exist on Death Row?

In all reality Death is not an illusion, so how can one live his / her life unless they are living their life in Fear.
