WE NEED A CHANGE
Sometimes as I sit and cogitate on the many opportunities and possibilities which confronted me in my life time, which I didn’t take advantage of, I feel a powerful sense of unworth. How could I grow to this age and end up in a place like this, with its sickening accumulation of sadistic persecution and atrocities, where the existence of death is almost certain, and the struggle to survive is like that of a camel fitting through the eye of a needle. It just so happens that my present atmosphere expresses death in the most mental and physical sense.
Yet, isn’t it ironic how no matter how immersed I am, the profoundness of life yet surges in my system, and the will to enjoy it flows in my veins?
There is vaguely enough ethical sense in this epidemic of incarceration, yet they persist in consuming these lives by the thousands everyday. And what purpose does the consumption of these lives serve?
History has proven that jails and prisons do not reform nor change the problem living within the person. They will only return to society as they left it, only this time, a lot more violent then before, as they have been subjected to and experienced a violent life within these jails and prisons. Violence is a way of life in the prison lifestyle, and it will remain such until a change in these jails and prisons have taken a complete metamorphosis. Until the qualifications for guards and staff employed have taken a complete overhaul, until the system which creates the criminal element has taken on a complete new set of values and morals.
The course of history can change for the betterment of you, your family, America and the world, if you are as I am: "DISSATISFIED". Like the great majority of Americans are today. And this can happen only with unity and a solution whose time has come - and the unity and solution whose time has come is desirable and attainable.
We need a new system of law (government) where primeval conception of divine justice isn’t a system of punishment for the wrong doer, but rather seeking the root of the problem and dealing with the problem so others will not follow the same path.
There is a potential solution to every problem, and an intelligent decision can be made on any issue.
In every segment of our society, there is warranted dissatisfaction among Blacks, Whites, Latino’s and other minority groups, white and blue collar workers, rich and poor, young and old, whether they are free or imprisoned, able or disabled, Republican, Democratic, Independent, non-voters, left-wing, right-wing, or straight down the middle.
We are aware of the issues
that need to be decided and the problems that need to be solved.
HOW WE SHOULD GO ABOUT IT - IS THE QUESTION?
1. Free the disadvantaged from their economic
bondage and help them restore their initiative
and self-esteem;
2. Save the billions of tax dollars being wasted
through negligence by applying business operating
principles used by successful
entrepreneurs and corporate executives,
3. Restore confidence in and esteem for America
in our people and those throughout the free
world through pragmatic
successful leadership;
4. Neutralize the effects of inflation (this
has been done in the past in America and other
countries);
5. Reduce unemployment and increase jobs for
those of all ages who want to work, regardless of
ethnic background or environment,
and to develop large number. of entrepreneurs in small-and
medium sized businesses
and make equal employaont opportunities a reality;
6. Reduce crime, disperse gangs, eliminate
vandalism and rehabilitate and reform those in penal
institution.;
7. Educate our illiterate population, their
ethnic backgrounds or environmental influence
notwithstanding;
8. Enforce ethical standards among officeholders
9. Stop warehousing our men, women & children
in jails and prisons and commit them rather to
services which can be an
asset to their communities and the nation over that of just a reason to
build another facility.
Can these be achieved? They can, by each and everyone of us getting together, uniting and applying the unity and solution whose time has come. We must, all of us, who are inspirationally dissatisfied with things as they are and who want to help bring about a change for the improvement. We must unite and form a voice which can be heard around the world.
Inspirational dissatisfaction on the part of the American voter can be the most powerful political force today toward achieving the necessary change.
You can do your part. Success
is achieved when you develop this change, you must follow through with
"ACTION!"
