We the undersigned would like to request of the Pardon and Parole Board and Governor Frank Keating, that Scotty Moore be granted clemency. We consider the Death Penalty to be an inappropriate punishment for any crime and a violation of Human Rights. It destroys any hope of forgiveness or reconciliation,  which leaves pain on both sides concerned. There is also considerable doubt as to Mr Moore's guilt, as the defence believes his confessor was coerced into providing false evidence. No man in prison is a threat to society and we consider this drastic and extreme course of action to be entirely unreasonable and excessive.
