        REFLECTION

I looked in the mirror,
Wondering what I'd see.
Would there be some monster,
Or just me looking at me.
They called me an animal,
Monster, infectious disease.
With only one solution : Erase from society.
Looking close in the mirror,
None of these do I see.  Only a frightened man,
wondering : how can this ever be ? No!
This isn't me.
I love all God's creatures, both above
and below sea. Most of all people;
Who are all brothers to me.
I cherish God's children, help those
in plight.  Thats who I am,
Not a murderer in sight.
How can I be this monster, a killer
in the night?  Looking, deeper and deeper,
there's no answer to be found.
I stare into the mirror,
As my tears fall to the ground.

        ILLUSIONS

Plastic people, phoney faces
Phoney people, plastic glasses
Masks of happines, masks of sorrow,
masks of courage, a mask for all...
Fake furs, fake nails
fake laughter, fake smiles.
Yet they are crying under it all...
Illusions.
You cannot live behind a mask in fear
So take off your mask that your vision may clear.
To see the world as it looks to you
But more importantly is what you'll see
in any reflection is the image of you
Escape the illusions and be who you are
A perfect child of God
Is who you
Really
Are
