Richard Shere's Christian Testimony:
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Big hugs, and Greetings in the Name of our Lord and
Savior Lord Jesus Christ. How is everyone this Wonderful day
that He has given us?
I am writing this letter, because I have a wonderful testimony of
some miracles taking place here in Prison on death row, due to
everyone's prayers, from Angels Share Jesus.
It all began when I first wrote to Angels Share Jesus around
November 25th. I had not been in His Word, my Bible, in almost 2
years. I asked God to make me get back in His Word, The Bible.
I asked Him to make me straighten my life up and stop sinning,
because I was hard headed. I asked Him to surround me with
Christian Brothers, which I thought was impossible in here!
Well, the guards torn my cell apart three times looking for drugs,
and didn't find any, but they accused me of trying to make keys to
escape, from pop-cicle sticks! Is that rediculus or what? We use
them as clothes pins to hang up our clothes to dry.
But the Lord allowed this to happen to answer my prayer! There
is no way this would have happened without the Lord.
They put me in a bare empty cell with nothing in it at all.
I got 60 days in the hole, they call this empty cell the hole.
So here I was in an empty cell and mail comes, a letter from
Brother Raymond, but not so much from him as it was from Jesus.
In the letter it expressed how very much Jesus Loved me, How
much He Loves me, and it was the hug from Jesus that I needed
so deeply, to get me through that night.
The following day I received another letter, this time a Brother
and Sister told me straight out that "Jesus Told Them" to write
me, and let me know how much He Loves me! It was another
Huge Hug from Jesus, to help me make it through that night also.
I find out, I am surrounded by Christian Brothers, almost every
man on this floor (14 cells) are all Christian Brothers, which is
unheard of. Some of them were sent to the hole for talking to a
guard wrongly, but the unbelievers were not sent to the hole. All
this is part of the God's great plan, and the miracles He is doing
here. We are able to talk and pray and comfort one another here!
God knows we needed each other now!
One unbeliever here, is listening and thinking about giving his life
to the Lord! God is calling him.
So as these little miracles unfold for each of us, it is interesting to
sit and watch; I myself am already back in The Word strongly! I
know that God is preparing my release from death row very
soon, possibly freedom from prison as well.
I still don't like the answer to my prayer to get back in the Word
(by being sent to the hole), but I Love It!
I knew I needed God to make me repent and change my ways.
He has made sure that each of us knows for sure that He is
working His miracles in each of our lives. Brother Lawrence
Lewis is here with me, many of you know him and may have read
his testimony. He is a strong brother in the Word, and has also
witnessed all of this as well. God has called us together to pray
over each other for protection.
I have never seem so many miracles at once, and I believe it is
from the our pour of prayers from all of you who read Angels
Share Jesus. And I truly and sincerely Thank each and every
one of you. I wish I could hug all of you.
I hope to keep you all up to date on what happens, and
the miracles God will bring, if you don't hear from me (or us), all is
fine!
