OBADYAH BEN - YISRAYL WRITES ON HIS LIFE AND EXPERIENCES |
An Innocent Voice From Within
Let's for a brief moment turn back the hands of time to late October through mid December of 1990. During that period of time a series of shotgun shootings plagued Northwestern Indiana. When eyewitnesses at many of the shootings fingered a suspect, he was described the same way each time, "a caucasian male between 20-30 with shoulder length hair".(* See Exhibit I) Based upon those identifications a composite sketch was disseminated throughout Northwestern Indiana. Every major and minor printed news association, every electronic media network, in every gas station and truck stop, and throughout every police station in the region was it circulated. Subsequently, an Afrikan male was arrested, tried, and acquitted twice. He was also found guilty twice, once by an all white jury, and sentenced to death twice. The Afrikan (Afrikan Amerikan) community, the churches, the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Certain People), and other so-called proponents of justice sat inert and watched as I was railroaded into the bowels of the Amerikan prison industrial complex (death house), where premeditated murder is not only legal, but widely advocated. My name is Obadyah Ben-Yisrayl (f.k.a. Christopher Peterson), and I'm that innocent voice within. I pose a question to the masses Have you lost all form of independent logical thought, and objective reality? Or have you all become so unknowingly brainwashed as to allow the media and their incestuous governmental bed mates to regulate your senses of compassion, justice, equality, and responsibility? The obvious answer to my questions would be "yes". But in this age of Bill "double talk" Clinton "define if" chicanery, the obvious is no longer obvious! Anytime a jury of twelve individuals sit in judgment of someone, having to base their decision upon eyewitness composites, testimony depicting the caucasian suspect, and an admittedly coerced statement of a Black man, the verdict would seem obvious.(* See Exhibit II)
i suppose the word "obvious" needs defining though!? I've been wrongly convicted and relegated to one of Amerika's many "slaughter houses" where the psychological affects can only be defined as torture, and one's senses are constantly starved for the most basic level of normality. The media, who is the official voice of all governmental agencies and agents, has evolved into the superimposed conscience and voice of the people. political demagogues use this vehicle to spread unsubstantiated rumors, rhetoric, and propaganda to cast an ominous light upon the individual accused of violations considered hideous. Fear and false images are impressed upon the minds of individuals who'll ultimately stand in judgment of an accused, whether that judgment be in kourt or conversation. Innocent until proven guilty loses all pretense of validity as the machine of institutional influence successfully projects upon a defendant barbaric, grotesque images of Michael Meyers or Hannibal Lector. One is often guilty before a single shred of so-called evidence is ever presented in kourt. It's an incontrovertible fact, and nature is my witness, that people simply don't transform from white to black or vice-versa. So why have the prosecutors on my case chosen to believe the impossible? To have caucasian police, and prosecutors head up my legal lynching, would've cast a suspicious light upon an already controversial case. The system's solution was to appoint three opportunistic knee-grows to bring to fruition the State's intent to murder me. Ralph Staples, who was the prosecutor in charge of my inquisition, along with Det. Edward Davies and Yvonne Bryant who were the domestic military soldiers (cops) used to represent the law enforcement community, all manifested their Black heads proudly to ensure the Afrikan community that racism wasn't a motivating factor in my prosecution. In fact, Det. Davies was the pawn who threatened to make it so i "never saw my family or the light of day again, if i didn't tell them what they wanted to hear". The racist State of Indiana's scheme could've never came to fruition were it not for these three buffer knee-grows. In fact, the first two trials resulted in acquittals despite my statements. The facts of this case and my statements are in direct contradiction to one another, when listened to objectively. There's a 25 minute period before my statements began that couldn't be explained by the Detectives. Two juries never got to hear about the statements due to a motion in limine, barring evidence not directly related to those particular cases. Yet, in Porter County, where i encountered an all white jury (there weren't any perspective jurors of color to choose from), they used all the evidence from a case i hadn't been tried for yet, to secure a conviction in a case unrelated to the one i was being tried for.(* See Exhibit III) It also didn't aid me in that the victims in the Porter County case were both caucasian. After my two acquittals in Lake County, it was widely reported in newspapers that the Lake County juries disappointed the Northwestern Indiana Violent Crime Task Force. A selection of detectives from multi-county police agencies formed to investigate the so-called shotgun shootings, and the State of Indiana at large. It was reported that "It's up to the Porter County jurors to do what the Lake County jurors neglected to do." As pervasive as the cancers of racism, official misconduct, and police brutality, or forced confession is in this kountry, it intrigues me that no one questions (at least not out loud) the many, many inconsistencies in my case. The embarrassment of ignorance can cause us to do many things, or overlook many things we otherwise wouldn't, yet, those things can often be repaired or revisited in time. This wouldn't be the case with my life. There's no repairing or revisiting it once it's wrongly and unjustly taken. i now stand in the process of appeals to the Indiana Supreme Kourt where the rulings they're making on all death penalty cases aren't based upon law, but upon arbitrary rules and raw ignorant emotions. No judge upon the Indiana Supreme Kourt has any criminal trial or criminal law experience.(* See Exhibit IV) Our public defenders are required to be death penalty qualified (to take a capital case). Yet, the corporate attorneys on the bench in the Indiana Supreme Kourt aren't even criminally qualified" to rule upon criminal issues. They're incompetent murderers, playing systemic madams selling their services to their constituents holding the most profitable, political interests! They should hold a moratorium on death penalty cases in Indiana, while investigating the rulings and motives of such a biased group masquerading as Judges. The masses should seek more informative, objective information to base their decisions upon, so as to prevent the State from legally, unjustly murdering in the name of the people. Confidential informants such as Antwion McGee and Ivory "Tito" Maxwell shouldn't be allowed to commit crimes, then fabricate evidence in return for prosecutorial welfare (plea bargains) to testify in open kourt. Afrikan males and males of color are the fuel to continue feeding the insatiable appetite of this racist, arbitrary modern institution of slavery, symbolized and perpetuated by the kourts and its pitisons. Before long we will be eligible for the endangered species status as we continue to fall prey to the genocidal practices of this Amerikan Empire. As an innocent man, i'm forced to reconcile within my mind, daily consequences of losing this war as the various appellate kourts justify the trial kourts errors in an effort to deny me any appropriate relief. Many honorable men have fallen victim to the electric murder mechanisms, and poisonous concoctions implemented through State sanctioned murder. The lack of any influential resistance, and the apparent display of public apathy will only ensure the continued murder of possibly innocent men and women.(* See Exhibit V) The possibility also exists that this innocent voice within will also be extinguished if no one takes a stand and Demands Justice.
