"Since the trial I have learned who committed the murder and why. If this investigation is not reopened -- the real murderers will remain free to commit more murders and an innocent man will be executed. There was tremendous pressure on the State of Texas and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to solve this terrible crime. It was the longest running investigation in the history of the ATF. They closed the case but did not solve the crime.
I'm pleading with anyone and everyone to help me in persauding the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office to reopen the investigation regarding this crime and bring the true murderers to justice. If these people are not brought to justice an innocent man will be executed and other people may be murdered by the people who killed the Blounts.
I plead with everyone in the name of human decency to copy the below letters and petitions and distribute them widely. Give a copy to all your family and friends and ask them to make copies and distribute them. Please mail them to the addresses on the letters. I'm hoping and praying this letter writing campaign will persuade these agencies to reopen the investigation and seek true justice.
