Hallo,

ich heiße Michael Correll und ich bin seit 1984, ich war damals 24 Jahre alt, im Todestrakt
von Arizona. Seit nunmehr 17 Jahren kämpfe ich mit aller Kraft um mein Leben und meinen
Seelenfrieden.

Vielleicht werde ich ja irgendwann mal wieder die Sterne sehen, oder wie der Himmel
brennt, wenn die Sonne untergeht. Ich werde diesen Traum niemals aufgeben.

Ich mag Musik, Lesen, alle Tiere, am Strand spazieren gehen, Harley Davidson und das
Leben so im allgemeinen.

Ich besitze viel Sinn für Humor, ich bin offen, fürsorglich, freundlich und würde gerne
jemanden finden, der mit einem wie mir korrespondieren möchte. Ich habe keine Familie
mehr und auch keine engen Freunde und es wäre das Größte, wenn ich jemanden hätte, mit
dem ich über alles reden kann.

Strong and courageous friend on Death Row. Our years together have taught me that life for
    Michael is beyond one's imagination of despair and loneliness. Wrongly accused and
  convicted of murder, this nightmare became a reality for a man who had everything to live
 for: a wife, a child---a family's love. Michael has been battling the system for years to try and
 appeal his conviction, but, time has almost run out! Michael is at the end of the road with no
 path left to take. He is a good, kind man with a great sense of humor. He's fiercely loyal and
 honest as he has proven to be to me! I want Michael to find a few very special people willing
 to be a part of his life and stand by him as his time nears. He needs this and I need this. No
                           one deserves to die alone!

    I'm on death row and have been here since 1984. I miss life incredibly more then I can ever
say or express.The stars,a beautiful sunset,the company of a playful warm hearted women
and good friends to hang out and party with. I love animals,music,walking on the beach, a
good book and just life in general. I'm caring,easy to talk to, understanding and open minded. I
welcome any company and friendship in my life and hope to hear from you.

Dear Editor,

I am a prisoner on Death Row at the Arizona State Prison and was wondering if you could assist me
and place this letter in your campus newspaper.

I am seeking correspondence. I'm not looking for anyone particular to write to, just anyone that would
be interested. I don't get much mail and the mail I do get is usually from the courts and generally bad
news, so it's just like not getting any mail at all, or worse than not getting any depending on how you
look at things.

Anyway, if you could run this with the letters to the editor for me I would really appreciate it;

Male prisoner on Death Row at the Arizona State Prison would like mail from anyone that would like
to write. I am without family and have been in this cell for over a dozen years already. I would like
correspondence from anyone who has time to write letters and would enjoy receiving letters from me
in return.

This life has been a hard and lonely one and I would be grateful for any company anyone would care
to give.

I will answer all letters written to me and to those who do write, please feel free to talk about or ask
whatever you are curious about.

Being a condemned prisoner I am kept strictly isolated and locked in my cell, I am not allowed to work
to get money for stamps, so if you could send a stamped return envelope it would be a big help to me.

Life on Death Row can get pretty lonely and the company through some correspondence could go a

       Hello to who ever cares, My name is Michael Correll and I am a
       prisoner of death row in Arizona who could use some company and
       friendship from the outside world. I came to death row in 1984 at the
       age of 24 and have spent the last 17 years fighting with all my heart
       for life and freedom… Perhaps one day I will see the stars again or
       the beautiful fires in the sky of the setting sun… a dream I wil not let
       go of…

       I like music, reading books, I love all animals, walking on the beach,
