          LEWIS KALUMBA'S REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE:

Dear Servant of God, Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has risen from the dead.  If you are okay over there...and me here I'm a bit okay despite the harshness which I'm enduring here in bondage.  I thank God who has given me this time to write to you this letter, I know that it is not easy to receive a letter from unknown person, and you answer...

For self introduction to you servants of God, I am a prisoner on death row who is just a victim of circumstance.  I'm 38 years old.  Married, Father of 3 daughters and a son left without my hold.

As their mother ran away upon sentencing me to death and she got married to another man in a far town.

Dear the servants of the most high God, my main aim of writing to you is for me to establish friendship.  I'm looking for someone to correspond with in your country, help me find a friend who can be encouraging me in the word of God, it is only through his words we can find real solace.

The scripture affirms it in Thessalonion 4.
If we are to develop deep, meaningful spiritual friendships, we will have to admit our need for Love and learn how to recieve it.  Most of us are far more comfortable keeping our needs to ourselves and giving to supply the needs of others.  But even Paul testifies to the power of admitting need and receiving help from others.

Dear servants of the most high, now, I let you know that I am a Congolese by nationality, I was just come to settle here in Zambia.  My family live far, away in Congo (DRC) Zaire foreign country.  No one of my relative come to visit me here in prison.  My sole reason for writing this letter...is that I am a poor suffering soul, "reproach has broken my heart,I'm full of heaviness, I looked for someone to take pity but here has been none, and for comforters but I have found none. "...This prison is situated and I come from pauper family, such that finding transport money is a very big problem to them, thats the reason why, for me to found even toiletries is a big problem.  Our prisons have reached the alarming level where by, prisoners are requested to buy their own food in order to feed themselves.  And this is happening not only to those who come from well to do families.  But has to people like me who come from a pauper family, I tell you it is a sad story.  We just surviving by the mercy of God.  I will be most grateful if my request is taken into consideration.  I am thirst for his word.  Lastly I look forward to hear from you. May the Lord God Bless you and perfect you in his Love to do that which is pleasing in his sight.  Prov 25: 25. ...May the good Lord guide you in all your endevours and bless you and your family abundantly. Yours in Christ, from death row,
