Kenneth Morris
Texas Death Row
"BAPTISM OF FIRE"
In the absolute deepest respect and with sincere regards, and love,
that only a renewed hearth can dispense, I extend my greetings.
My name is Kenneth W. Morris, I am a 28 year old African American, presently
incarcerated on Texas Death How and have been so since the age of 23.
I was born March 4,1971 in Houston Texas, the third son of Charles and
Jimmie Morris. I've been compelled to compose this missive, with all hopes
of it being shared with many others of society. Allow me. "Baptism of
fire"
(a soldier's first exposure to enemy fire!) "The Death Penalty"! For eighth
years now I have been under fire. In the case I face I'm not
the killer.
Although I played a part in the case, I'm innocent of capital murder.
Now, on a lighter note. Being on the Row is a very lonely
life and it's
also stressful. So I look for things to do, such as writing and
answering letters,
I
enjoy drawing, music and reading. I am interested in meeting people, anyone
who likes to write that may want to help in any way or would just like
to know
about the life on the Row. All letters will be answered. Being I
have no outside
support and time has distanced my family, I don't get visits, so my time
is yours.
I am six foot, 208 pounds. I have very wavy black hair and brown eyes.
My sign
is Pisces, my favorite colors are black, blue and green. I am single and
never
been married. I love answering questions and I'm very open minded. I would
like to take this time to thank you for sharing your time to read this
missive.
Should there be anyone who would like to get to know me better, their
letter
will be greatly appreciated. Hopefully we will be able do develop a lasting
friend ship. Sincerely Kenneth Morris
