As you well know, I am
an inmate on Ohio's Death Row, at Mansfield Correctional
Institution. I have been
in prison since 1992. As you can guess from the death row sentence,
I was accused and found
guilty of murder. The sad part is that I was convicted soley on the
word of the actual killer
-- no evidence, no I.D., nothing, except for her saying that she
"knew" that I had to do
it.
It's a long, movie of the
week story, but the short version is that myself and a friend were
robbed by my ex-wife, and
a few of her friends. In the process, I was hurt and got away, but
he was killed. True, I
did not run to the police afterwards as most people would, but I looked
at it as part of the price
I had to pay for being involved in crime to begin with, as I have
done minor crimes for a
large portion of my adult life. Mostly things like writing bad checks
on my personal account,
but never nothing like I was accused of here.
Furthermore, I felt that
since I had not done the crime, I was in the clear. So why should I
have my children grow up
knowing their mother tried to get their father killed so she could
buy the drugs I denied
her money for? Unfortunately, she had no such compunctions. I
know, "Imagine that, she
just tried to kill you idiot!" But we had been involved since I was
pretty young, and when
she cried I really thought she might change after this. But, I had no
idea that she had done
these type of things before, during a few years we had been
separated.
Well, I've been in prison
several years now, I am just a little wiser, and through the beauty
of rumors and gossip, I
have found out that my ex-wife has done, or been involved in,
several similar murders,
or just plain rip-offs of men she was involved with, and at least one
young woman.
Since my entire conviction
centers around her lying testimony to keep herself out of prison,
any information I can get
about these instances will definitely help to prove our case so that
I can rejoin the human
race, especially my two boys who are currently separated since she
refuses to even try to
be a mother to them.
To the best of my knowledge,
my ex-wife has lived as, or represented herself to be the
following people:
Tabatha Lynn Keith
Tabatha Lynn Sheppard
Tabatha Lynn Henness
Tabatha Lynn Pittman
and Brandy something
or other.
As for the various places
of residence, she has lived in West Virginia, Mansfield, Ohio,
Columbus, Ohio, Texas,
and I believe Louisiana. There may be more, but a large part of her
life was kept secret from
me.
Tabatha is a drug addict,
and has exhibited several different personalities, along with being
bi-polar. One day she will
work at Toys R Us, and the next day she may be out on the street
corner as a prostitute.
She is also bi-sexual.
From personal experience
and accounts I have had related to me, she basically follows the
same pattern: she will
convince someone that she is helpless without them, needs to be
rescued from herself or
a bad situation, and that they are the center of her world. After a
time, it will become apparent
that she goes through large amounts of money, she'll
disappear for days, and
when you find out she is abusing drugs and attempt to stop her or
leave her, she will become
violent, and either attack you if you are in the way of her and the
drugs, or attempt suicide
to gain your sympathy so she will be given a second chance.
Generally, she will either
pick an elderly genteman, or someone like myself with a
checkered past or present
so they will be more likely to accept that she has "problems",
and despite constantly
messing up, is trying to straighten up.
Unfortunately, when you
finally wise up and cut her off from money for her drugs, she will
steal from you, your friends,
family, whatever she has to do. I know of several of us that she
has drawn weapons on, stabbed,
shot at, or whatever. I also know that several people have
died in the process, including
her latest husband, under highly suspicious circumstances.
That is the type of information
I am looking for, people she has used and abused, robbed,
hurt, etc. I am also looking
for more information in the following deaths, and if you can help
me prove she was involved
with them at the time.
Obviously, some of you
may have feelings for her and be reluctant, regardless of how she
treated you, to speak out
against her. Many men have dropped charges repeatedly against
her for robbing them. On
that, you should never fear if you watch TV any at all, you are well
aware that after the state
blames and tries one person, it is nearly impossible for them to
admit they were wrong and
to go after the guilty party. Simply put, I want my life back, not
sitting here waiting to
die for another's crime.
I know she was involved
in the shooting death of a Cuban by the name of Jose, in Columbus,
Ohio either in the late
1980's , or real early 1990. He was supposedly found on Hudson Ave.
in a car, shot in the head
with a .357 or something like that.
She shared an apartment
with a young woman who was her lover also, in Columbus, Ohio in
the latter 1980's who also
disappeared. According to the police, she told them that the
Cubans killed her and threw
her by a river. However, after a nightmare, she said something
about having fought with
and killed her herself, and that she was taken out of the county and
thrown beside the road.
Also during the lates 1980's
, in and around Ohio, there were several stories of men she had
been with, some she promised
to marry, all of whom she was to have repeatedly ripped off,
and several having been
attacked by her or her other male friends, she even showed off an
engagement ring and fur
coat from one of them.
I have also heard that
she set several people up to be robbed for their drugs and drug
money, charming them and
tricking them into places where people were waiting for them.
One was supposed to have
gotten killed in the process, and thrown into the river after being
dismembered so no one would
see them.
She also moved to Texas
with an elderly gentleman, where she was supposed to have been
arrested for attacking
people on different occasions, including attacking him with both a
pistol and a hunting knife
on two separate instances. Something about stabbing him right
between the eyes. This
man was supposed to have been named Harold Arledge, and was to
have originally been her
drug counselor before falling under her spell.
And lastly, her last husband
lived in Louisiana, but died from a drug overdose in Kentucky.
It was suspicious because
she had just went through his entire injury settlement of
$89,000.00, and said about
a month earlier that she was trying to find a way to get rid of him
without getting into trouble
about it. His name was Ronnie Pittman, and I am hoping I can
make some contact with
his family and maybe learn if they had similar information about
her.
I have also found out that
she was regularly used by various police departments to convict
people she was involved
in for numerous crimes, such as credit cards, drugs, and what have
you. In each of these instances,
of course, she was an innocent, and they were the bad guys,
and showing that this is
a policy the police have developed with her will also go far to prove
my innocence. Especially
since they denied that they have used her in this capacity,
knowing that the jury would
see the truth if they admitted it.
In closing, I know I never
covered everything here, but as I said in the beginning, I wasn't
prepared to begin this
part of my plea for your help yet.
If you know of any of the
above, or might know of others, or think you can help in any way
at all, please don't hesitate
to contact me. The tiniest thing, even if it's just a suggestion of
where I could gain more
information, may be the one thing that leads to justice and my
finally having a life.
I realize that I am a nobody,
a small time crook, probably of little use to anyone, but I have
never done anything to
deserve this and need all of the help I can get.
