                                                    INTRODUCTION LETTER

Hello.  My name is Karl Chamberlain.  I used to go by KhAReL A occasionally on the I.R. C and chat channels.  I have the unfortunate fate of being a computer junkie and nethead locked away in the artificial environment that takes one bacl to the horror of Snail Mail and (gasp!) typewriters !   I keep asking if I can get a copy of Microsoft Word .05a  for a Smith Corona Typewriter - but they just stare at me as if I were crazy !    Suffice  it to say I would much rather be staring at the screen before you know.  I do not care how bored you are, how lonely or how unfortunate your circumstance, I would almost trade with you.  I say almost because I could  not put anyone in this situation..and, well, no matter what,  I kinda like being me.

Well, you'd not be here except that you are bored, browsing and perhaps looking for a friend.  Well, that is what T am looking  for!  And the best way to find a friend is to be a friend.  A friend.  Someone to write to.  Someone who cares.   I would that I could use email, but no such luck. I would love to hear from you though,  and will write faithfully in return.  It beats the hell out of staring at the  peeling paint on the walls !  Although that's a helluva screen saver. Actually people do not realise how precious their lives are .  Each moment that passes for you, no matter how trivial is like a unique gem to me!  T soooh miss the lil  pleasures of  life: Nature, People, Animals, reading a good book, listening  to a cd, surfing the net, playing computer games, going to a Penaissance festival with friends, sitting around eating pizza (or chinese) playing AD&D, riding my motorcycle, a friendly human touch; hell,  even going to work!

Well, this is all for now.  No matter what, I wish you well on your search for a friend - if you write to me you will find one, but each takes their own path.  I hope to hear from you, but it is as you wish.

For love,  For laughter,  For Life.

Karl Chamberlain
