   INNOCENT ON DEATH ROW - Calling On YOU To Use Your Voice To Help !

A compilation CD/Benefit concerts project designed to raise awareness in the US, and around
the world about the case of Jimmy Dennis - an innocent man on death row in Pennsylvania.

We are asking socially conscious and politically aware musicians/bands and artists
to do whatever they can do to be a part of fighting for JUSTICE FOR JIMMY !

This is just a little synopis about what we're asking of you and why we think you should support it.  Without a doubt, this may be the most important thing you ever do.

Its literally a life or death thing.

In 1998 we (Dave Parkinson and Tracy Lamourie of CCADP  ) became involved with the case
of Jimmy Dennis, who has been sitting on Pennsylvania's death row, alongside his friend and
sometime advisor Mumia Abu Jamal, since 1992. Mumia has written on Jimmy's case in the past.
After an extensive review of Jimmy's case and court documents, it was obvious to us
that Pennsylvania intends to kill an innocent man.

We have all the files, documents, trial transcripts, police statements, etc.  and we will
be glad to make any of it available to anyone who wishes to do a serious review of the evidence for themselves.   (See below for some information you can find on the web.)

This project is intended to raise awareness about Jimmy Dennis, an innocent man who has been sitting on  Pennsyvania's death row for over a decade.  This case has not had a lot of public
attention inside the US, its at a vital turning  point, and the attention of all those who care anything about justice needs to be focused on this case.

At the time of his false arrest, Jimmy was an R&B singer in the local Philly area gaining a lot of attention from various producers and labels.   Music has always been a passion for him, other than his family it is the most important thing in his life.  Since Jimmy was stolen from his life, his family, his dreams and aspirations - for 10 years, he has cried out for justice from the depths of his nightmare where he spends 23 hours a day locked alone in a cell.   Jimmy has no voice.  His voice has been silenced by the system - NOW they want to KILL him.

 YOU'RE his only chance at having a voice now.

Many people are already well aware of the case of Mumia Abu Jamal in Philadelphia, but know
little or nothing of all the other not so high profile cases of wrongful conviction taking place in that city.  Jimmy is another victim of Philadelphia prosecutor Roger King.  King is said to keep photos
of everyone he sentenced to death in his office with the hopes of putting X's through them as they're executed one by one...William Neives and Otis Peterkin were both recently exonerated after spending years on Pennsylvania's death row, both convicted by the same Philadelphia prosecutor Roger King, who witheld evidence in both cases, just as is now being proven, he did in Jimmy's.  Courts have recently ordered a retrial in another capital case and recent media has been all
over King as his tactics have surfaced once again in another recent case.

They don't want you to know about this stuff.  We want to turn up the volume on this throughout North America so that people realize whats really going on in Philadelphia.  We want your audience to know this, every single person who knows about Jimmy Dennis is one step closer to him finding justice and going home, and one step further away from execution.   With enough pressure we may be able to turn the tide on the death penalty in that state, as we expose the corruption behind their death machine.

Several artists / bands have already committed to this project.
We intend to have spoken word content from Jimmy Dennis between some tracks.
