MARVINE BOISELLE Please allow my words to be printed in your daily. I state the following, and if I should lie may God’s Judgement fall on me. If I should add, or lie in my statement, may the Lord put a curse on me that I’ll suffer more than I am suffering now. Since February 2005 I’ve been complaining about a toothache. I’ve seen the P.M.O. (Prison Medical Officer) on numerous occasions and he has recommended on over ten occasions that I receive treatment and have my tooth pulled out - this has not been done. I’m also suffering with diabetes, sometimes I even get headaches. Regarding my medical problem I’m very sickly. On the 19th November 2005 I was beaten by some officers by the name of PO1 Nanco & Mr Howard. The beating was ordered by the Chief, Mr Polchan. My lawyer came to visit me in the week, he witnessed my fresh injuries, nothing was done for treating my injuries - everything remains silent. I want to ask the prison authorities if I’m sick and you don’t want to see about me. And I’m lying down on my bed suffering with toothache, headache and diabetes (can’t see good) and officers came to conduct a routine search, and I can’t come off my bed what must I do? It has been months now I’ve been complaining about my condition. I was asked to come out of my cell but I did not because I was feeling very sick. I was dragged out of the cell, by two officers named Mr Nanco and Mr Howard. Okay, let’s be real - I have no problem with that. But I’ve been taken out of the cell and still beaten for nothing. On the 5th December 2005 I was taken to the chief officer Mr Polchan, to face a prisoner charge, for refusing to leave my cell on the 19th of November, plus attempting to throw my pale, using obscene language and disobeying an order to come out of my cell. I went before the Superintendent of Prison Mr Isaiah Rochford to face this prison case. I told Mr Rochford this charge is not true and “I want to see the Commissioner of Prisons”, he told me I can’t see him and what do I plead?! I told him I want this matter to go before the Commissioner, cause I don’t know anything about this false charge. I keep telling Mr Isaiah Rochford, “Please let this matter go before the Commissioner”, he told me no and he found me guilty of all three prison charges and he sentenced me to 3 days R.D.1 and 7 days R.D.2 and my family can’t come to see me for the rest of the year. I told him he can’t do this, “I Appeal this matter, I want to see the Commissioner” - I was dragged out of the room. That same day I saw the prison doctor, Mr Chen, because the Superintendent, Mr Rochford, sent me to see him to confirm if I’m fit to do the punishment. That same day, Monday, 5th December 2005, I started this punishment of dry bread and water for ten days without visit, and I appealed the matter. Now I can’t see my family for the Christmas. I have diabetes and I can’t eat dry bread - how will I take my tablets? They have stopped my vegetable diet the doctor recommended for me because of my medical condition. What I can’t understand is this same prison doctor Mr Chen knows I am diabetic, and starch is not good for me, and he had recommended a special diet as part of my medical treatment at this time now. I can’t eat this dry bread and I also can’t take my tablets because I must eat before I take my medication. The doctor orders vegetables for me on a daily menu for me, with diabetic tablets twice daily. What must I do, prisoners are suffering and complaining and when we try to help we are made to look like fools and troublemakers. How long will we complain about Mr Isaiah Rochford, and the way we are being treated. Death row prisoners are being treated like dogs. We have our own personal problems to face. All we are asking is for respect and help to be reformed and better persons in life. Making things hard for us would not solve anything. Everyone deserves a chance to life and forgiveness and we are not all guilty. Some of us are truly innocent and we still love our country despite what we have been forced to face and go through. Remember two wrongs cannot make a right. I want the authorities to wake up. I think wisdom, love and forgiveness is also part of God’s Law. I’m dying slowly. Please someone help. Trinidad have mercy on me, I’m not a criminal.

NIGEL MARK I'm fair skin in complexion, slightly built, brown eyes, pink lips and possess a thin moustache.  My hair is black.  My age is 26 years old and I am born under the zodiac sign of Leo.  My height is 170 cm and I weigh about 140 lbs.  I love to communicate with women bwrween the ages of 18 - 45.  They can be of any race.  My interests are readaing, writing, meeting smart and intelligent people and listening to pop, rock, and slow music.  I'm free and have never been married in my life.  I like a woman who is honest, plain spoken, kind hearted and of course, sexy but the latter isn't of great importance.  I myself have the same qualities mentioned.  Also, I forget to mention exciting.  I do not have any photographs but I think that I have described my likes and interests.  I hope to get someone to write soon.  I wish you the best at everything you do and may God shower his blessing upon you.  I'm of East Indian descent and I love to exercise a lot.  Yours respectfully,

KRISHENDATH SEEPERSAD   Dear Sir/Madam: As you will see I am at the address mentioned.  My reason for these few things is that I will really appreciate any help I can receive from the outside world.  MY CASE: I had bought a car from a man which appeared to be stolen and when I understood the car to be stolen, I parked it for the police to get it.  One month after I saw the man who sold me the stolen car and I picked him up in a car that I was driving at the time and took him for a drive to discuss
a refund of the money that I had paid for the car.  On the way, an argument started with the man and myself and he jumped out of the car and got bounced by the next car that was behind my car.  12 days after, I was arrested and charged for murder.  I was convicted and sentenced to death on May 29, 1996.  On October 17, 1997 the local court of appeals ordered a retrial and was then convicted and sentenced to death for a second time on May 29, 1998.  My appeal was dismissed at the Privy Council and at this
time I have a petition before, (The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights).  I would like to have my case re-opened at the Privy Council based on these facts: (1)  The pathologist in my case was not qualified as a Forensic Pathologist to give evidence in court in a court of law.  (2)  The Justice of the Peace (Mr. Charles) is at this time before the court in Trinidad charged with (14) counts of fraud.   We are saddened to report that many countries in the Islands, are now reinstating their use of capital punishment, following the United States barbarous practice.  We at the CCADP value the close relationship Canada has forged with the nations of the Caribbean,  and implore them to once again banish the use of capital punishment.  Check this space in the future for updates on capital punishment in the Islands.
