Gary
Hart - Juvenile Sentenced To Death In Alabama
Gary
Hart is on death row in Alabama for a murder committed during a robbery
when Gary was 16 years old. Gary says that the murder was accidental
during the course of the robbery. It was the first 'serious'
crime that Gary had ever been charged with - and it landed him on death
row. The United States continuing the horrible practice of executing
those who were juveniles at the time of the crime goes against all international
conventions. Gary's page includes his writing on violence in modern
american society, guns, a writing about the executions of two of his fellow
death row inmates, and his penpal request.

Anthony

Anthony Mungin is
a 32 year old Florida death row prisoner who was sentenced to death on
February 23, 1993. In the words of his supporters, " If Florida
is not stopped from executing his wrongful sentence, Anthony will pay the
ultimate price. He will pay with his life for something he did not
do.
Anthony has made mistakes.
He committed two robberies for which he accepts responsibility and punishment.
However, his criminal record and his race have been used as a justification
for railroading him. In their search for a culprit the police did
not shy away from coercing a false testimony and suppressing a witness
in order to make their charges stick to Anthony. In an interrogation
they
broke Anthony's finger-still
he would not confess to a crime he had had no part in." Page includes
writings and poetry, and a letter from Anthony, as well as his penpal request.
