Dennis An Innocent Man On Death Row
The Canadian Coalition Against
the Death Penalty is organizing the campaign to free Jimmy Dennis,age 28,
and the father of two, who is innocent on death row at the notorious
SCI Greene maximum security prison in Pennsylvania. We've placed
trial and police transcripts on line so you can see for yourself.
Coerced and forced testimony, perjury by witnesses, suppressed vital evidence,
prosecutor misconduct, and no physical evidence. Recently denied
new trial in closest vote in years 3-4 in PA Supreme Court. Financial assistance
is urgently needed to help us pay for the new attorney and investigator.
Jimmy's
case is one of the worst
cases of injustice in the USA we have seen, and his case has been gathering
international support . Sam Reese Sheppard, son of the man "The Fugitive"
was based on, recently visited Jimmy in prison to extend his support.

18 years. He is a Native American from the White Mountain Apache

Riddle - Legal Defense Fund
Granville Riddle has been
on death row in Texas for almost ten years, since he was 19. His case is
now in Federal Court and he's looking for better legal representation.
The state's expert witness at his trial was Dr Ralph Erdmann, the "famous"
pathologist convicted in 1992 of faking autopsies and knowingly giving
false testimony in many homicide cases. A little case info from his

Seals - Racism and Conviction in Louisiana
Glen Seals, a black man,
fell victim to shameful racism when the Sheriff's Department and District
Attorney's Office if Jefferson Parish disregarded their obligation as representatives
of society and assumed the role of zealots. Seals was convicted of
first degree murder and sentenced to death on July 23, 1993, by a Jefferson
Parish, Louisiana jury. His page includes lots of case info, as well

Shatner - Help Stop the Abuse of Illinois Death Row Prisoner
We have recieved the following
report from Illinois death row inmate Darrin Shatner, who has received
abuse and threats from guards due to his religious beliefs.
He is a victim of religious persecution at Menard prison. He has not been
allowed to phone his family in over two years, as well as having his legal
mail illegally intercepted and tampered with when he attempted to bring
his attorneys attention to this abuse. He is afraid for his life
at the hands of guards and others and asks that all who read this letter
do what they can to encourage a full scale investigation and wants to be
moved, saying that he may be tortured even worse after this letter, but
that the abuse is so bad he wants immediate public attention placed on
it . PLEASE HELP !

Apanovitch has been sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit.
Anthony Apanovitch was convicted in Cleveland 1984, murder and rape of
Mary Ann Flynn. After a two month investigation,police targeted Apanovitch,
even though the hair, blood and saliva samples he voluntarily provided,
excluded him as a suspect. The state's case at trial was built solely

Armenia Cudjo has been on
California's death row since June 6, 1989 - condemned to death for a crime

Darks - Wrongfully Convicted In Oklahoma ?
Tyrone Peter Darks is on
death row in Oklahoma for the 1994 murder of his wife. He is asking
for "awareness and attention to this miscarriage of justice." Assistant
Attorney General Robert Whittaker and Oklahoma State Bureau Investigator
OSBI just told United States Western district Oklahoma City
Judge Tim Leonard "There
is no evidence on this case. There was never any investigation done by
any law enforcement
agency in Oklahoma on this case, the reason MR. DARKS was charged was because
he showed no remorse". In Tyrone's words, "innocent people
don't show remorse for a crime they didn't do." Page includes case

Agona Azania - Wrongfully Convicted On Death Row In Indiana ?
Zola
was arrested August 11 of 1981 in Gary Indiana and charged
with armed robbery and murder.
In
Zola's words " On that day the police dispatcher sent out a call-about
a robbery at the Gary National
Bank.
The first cop on the scene was shot. Thereafter, a citywide dragnet took
place and about 10 Black (New Afrikan) people were snatched off the street!
All police reports of these arrests were either withheld or destroyed.
In this atmosphere of class conflict, i was stopped in a Black neighbor-hood
on the West Side of Gary by a white cop. When i demanded to know what was
going on, the racist cop said, "Nigger, you shot a cop!" i vehemently denied
the accusations only to be told; "Well if you didn't do it nigger, you
sure as hell know who did." Then, he said "Well, i'm not sure if you did
or not, but you'll do." Zola's page includes case information,
