On The Justice System
                    By Glen Rogers, Death Row

The justice system in the US is one Big chess game, every law, and crime,
is a political issue, without crime as a issue during election time, there
wouldn't be much to talk about.  As it stands now, every person in the US
this year, thats running for election in one office or the other, one thing
they all say to get elected is, (WE WILL EXECUTE DEATH ROW INMATES, AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.) (WE WILL CUT OUT THEIR APPEALS SO WE CAN KILL THEM FASTER) (LIFE IN PRISON FOR ALL CRIMES), all elected politicians in the US have built their career on the backs of inmates.

I have been through a few trials, and the TRUTH is not a issue.  It does not
matter if you're completely proven not guilty, the Jury will always side with the lawyer who tells the best story, and if you can't afford a private lawyer, you get the public defenders do very little, all they want to do is make deals, Public defenders are only as good a lawyer as the inmate. If the inmate doesn't know the law, the P.D. will not step forward and do his job, on the other hand, if the inmate is smart when it comes to legal issues the public defender will do more, so he doesn't look stupid.

In my case, I had very little chance of proving I was not guilty, first the media went wild, reporting stories they never checked out, if the stories sold newspapers they printed it, the truth is not an issue.  If it sells print it, in every  trial it was impossible to find a juror that hasn't heard the stories out out by the media.  I was convicted before I stepped into the courtroom.  In California my whole trial was about crimes they think I did, only 4 hours our of 10 days was spent on the murder I was charged with.  I took the stand for 2 days, and told the truth, but after  the jury heard 9 days of testimony about other cases they think I did.  I didn't have a chance, you can read this for yourself, as soon as I can get my trial transcripts added to this webpage, it shouldn't be too long,
I'm working on it now.
