    POEMS WRITTEN BY FREDERICK McWILLIAMS

                            The Third Eye

                                   Receiving all that exist
                                 Never fooled by emotions
                                      Does not love nor hate
                                   Therefore absorption only
                                       Will never miss out
                                   Grasping and Controlling
                               Always determining thoughts
                                    In sleep or while awake
                                No need faking and shaking
                                     It sees through all lies
                                Knowing you before you do
                                        It longs to be used
                                           The Third Eye

                       A MAN AWAKENS

                                           A man awakens
                                       to the sound of silence
                                   has time stopped for him?
                                                he listens
for the only voice he hears
                                  is silence screaming at him
                                        does silence sound?
                                           A man awakens
                                     there's darkness about
                                  did the sun stop shining?
no light in which to see
                         what exactly does darkness bring?
no joy or happiness in darkness
                                 nothing in darkness to see
                                   does darkness see him?
                                     can he see darkness?
darkness is a part of him
but is he a part of darkness?
                                          A man awakens
                                      to never sleep again
                                      to never wake again
                                       no more wondering
                                          A man is Awake

                     TOO YOUNG TO DIE

                                        Legalized murder
                                and modern day lynches
                                    There's no age limits...
                               The oppressors have ruled
                                    Their means are cold
                                   All youth shall vanish
From 10 to 20 years old
                                  The babies of tomorrow
                                Become the dead of today
                                      No future to look to
                             Labeled menace-thrown away
                                    Can't kill them in birth
But later sentence them to death
                               The young are marked-dying
A desting of a world with nothing left
                                  Let's rebel the slaughter-
                                 And when others ask why
                                  We'll just shout in unison
                                             "To Young To Die!!!"

                    HARD BRICK AND STEEL

                                    Hard brick and steel
                              what I see upon wakening
no matter the time of day
                       these entities have possessed me
                              transformed me using me
                                          or have they
maybe I was already like this
or maybe they made me hard
from time to time I've become them
                                   maybe as protection
                                   could be just for show
                           I know not the consequences
                             of circummingto these two
I do know I hate the sight of...
                               ...hard brick and steel
