GOVERNOR GEORGE RYAN
100 West Randolph Street
Chicago, Illinois
60601 USA
Dear Governor Ryan,
I am writing you concerning the case of AARON PATTERSON, a prisoner on death row in the Pontiac Correctional Center.
1. Please grant AARON
a pardon based on his innocence.
2. Because you state
that the judicial system in illinois is flawed and broken please do not
wait for the judicial system to correct this injustice. Thank you
for promoting the death penalty moratorium !
3. Please review the
entirety of the case :
a) the
Willie Washington conection
b) missing
exculpatory evidence (fingerprints on the cassette recorder)
c) no
eyewitnesses
d) recantation
by Marva Hall based on her admission that former State's Attorney Jack
Hynes coerced her to give perjured testimony
e) no
physical evidence connected to AARON PATTERSON
f) police
record of Aaron Patterson doesn't qualify him as a suspect
g) The
bloody shoeprints in the victims house did not match AARON PATTERSON's
h)
The alleged confession was not written or signed by AARON PATTERSON
i) There
was no court reported statement, no tape recorded statement, nor any notes
of confession
by State's
Attorney, Kip Owens.
Governor Ryan, please consider all these many facts and and grant a pardon to AARON PATTERSON.
Sincerely,
