Interests, writing short stories, poem, songs, anything "Star Trek", Loves
to read Sci-Fi and horror stories (King and Koontz are favorites !) Air cooled
Volkswagens, motorcycles, current events, the environment, small dogs, large
cats, reptiles, and a good fight against the system ! ! ! I'm
5' 9" tall, weigh 165 pounds, am going bald, but wear a long beard, which

came in from the yard, and was very hot and red faced, ha ! ha ! )

SHELTON JACKSON I'm 26 years old , Black male. I would like

I came to Oklahoma in 1991. I like to write and read books on Religion-Buddhism,
Hinduism, Taoism, Sikhism, astrology, self-help and etc. . . . I been
on death row since Dec.16,' 98. I would like

Whites, Latinos Asians, Europeans and others I would like to write.
Men and women. I would talk about my life, ask bout theirs,
about my situation here and how others here are positives influences on others.
How we thank them for fighting for us and for you all Kindness, compassion,
unconditional love, forgiving heart, time, energy and hope. I
do care about the world outside, especially the sadness, pain of the drugs,
killing, family problems, abuse women and children, runaways, juvenile boys
and girls, other women and men prisoners, homeless, gangs, poverty, prostitutes,
HIV and other diseases, gays and lesbians, people on probation, foster children

CHARLES WARNER
My
situation is quite unique and I need not elaborate, needless to say
that there are a lot of good men that are in confinement. Some of
bogus charges and innocent. Some in circumstances that involved without
thought. Never meant for the mishaps to ever occur.
Sure some crimes are sicken, but in my frame of thought. One must be disturbed,
and need help instead of this inhumaness. No one loves to write like
me. This is my very first time in trouble and in confinement.
And yet I have great family support. I only have 1 little girl here
in Oklahoma. The rest of my family is from afar.
So it's important to make several friends to write.

ROCKY DALE SNOW I'm 5'9", 175 pounds, light brown hair,
dark blue eyes, I enjoy reading and writing. I'm from McAlester, Oklahoma,
where this prison is. I've a large family, but I don't stay in
touch
w / them and I'm writing no one ! I've been on Death Row this December
will be 12 years and in fact I'm the only guy here under the old death
laws and saying that means I'm only on my number 2 appeal ! Yeah,
there's guys that have come in like 4 years they're past me in the appeals,
its sad too, here I've got the first true innocence case, now ya know why
I've been here so long the State's only witness has now told the truth and
clear me, but that don't seem to matter. So much for Oklahoma law
huh ! Ha ha.

FRANK WELCH My name is Frank Duane Welch, I am a 38 yr. old white male who
is confined on Death Row within the Oklahoma Department of Corrections.
I enjoy watching numerous sporting events, such as football, baseball, tennis
and rodeo. Here on Death Row we have only two options of exercise,
basketball or handball. I try and take advantage of both in order to
stay in shape. Besides sports, I enjoy a good book, novels mostly.
My tastes in music are first country and then some light rock, no heavy metal.
My educational background consists of a bachelors degree in Animal Science.
Now as for what I am looking for in a pen pal. I am looking for a friend,
age not important. One who is willing to be straight forward with me,
no games. For I will be straightforward with them. I need someone
who is willing to help me both emotionally and financially. Someone
who, when I am having a bad day, is willing to listen and give support.
I am a proud man, but it is hard being alone in this place, no one to share
your thoughts and feelings with. For this is the reason I have written
this letter. If you are willing to accept me as I am and not hold
my faults against me, I would love to hear from you.

LAMONT ROBBINS Greetings to all who take the time
to read this. My name is Lamont Robbins #254638. At the present
I'm being held hostage at O.S.P H-Unit, also known as Oklahoma State Prison,
Death Row Unit. I use the word "Hostage" in the strongest sense, because
I do not believe I should be caged against my will in this concrete and steel
world. I truly believe that I will one day be free, so the fear of
dying isn't something that is a constant burden on my mind - But just being
around the astronomical amount of people who walk around with all hope gone
from their eyes, knowing they will die, is enough to make the strongest man
break down and cry late at night when nobody else can see...So I'm in need
to find someone, anyone, regardless of race, creed, or gender that would be
willing to allow me to write to them and release some of this raw emotion
that is on the verge of erupting...I'm 31 years old, I have no family, no
friends, or any pen pals at the present...Its hard to maintain your sanity
under such living conditions as these people force us to live under...locked
down in a small cage 23. hrs a day, three showers a week, barely enough food
to maintain enough energy to even try to do anything other than read, no type
of educational outlet...I've only been able to survive through the grace of
God, and because I know that I will be free again. I refuse to allow
this place to turn me into the animal they treat us as. So hopefully,
someone will read this and be willing to lend an "EAR" to listen, and a "Hand"
to help me fight this battle I'm engaged in...Anyone can write me at :

* Inmates may not receive
stamps, stamped envelopes, cash, or personal checks in the mail. Money
must be sent in the form of a US Postal Money order, Certified Checks, or
Cashiers Check and made payable to the inmate..
Include the inmates number with his name.
Rules for Visiting Oklahoma State Death Row Prisoners:
* Death Row inmates
are permitted visitors Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Authorized visitors of Death Row inmates are permitted to visit twice a
month for one hour each visit.
