ELZIE BALL   Dear Friends,  My name is Elzie Ball and am an inmate on death  row at the Louisiana State  Penitentiary at Angola, Louisiana. I have  been incarcerated since May 24, 1996 and on death row since August 22,  1997. I am on death row for a crime I did not commit and have no  knowledge of. I am accused of a murder that was supposed to have occurred in the process of an armed robbery. I am very eager and willing to discuss it, because I was framed and conspired against, by police who were hungry for an arrest, because of pressure from the public and  politicians. Like I said, I am very eager to discuss it. I am in drastic need  of correspondence and a friend to share ideals, beliefs and concepts with. I have an interest in all subjects. I love science, politics, music, astrology,  art, romance and am very flexible. I can relate to almost anything.  I am confined to a cell 23 hours a day and have plenty of time to write and correspond with an interested person.     Thanks in advance for your time.

TEDDY CHESTER   Reason : In anxious search of a sincere person for friendship !  Hi there!  My name is Teddy, I'm a Death Row inmate incarcerated in the Louisiana State Penitentiary.  Since my arrival I've come to realize how dangerous loneliness can be to one's health.  It gives you a cold and chill feeling even when its summer time.  It brings an emptiness feeling in your heart, though you're surrounded by others.  I mean have you ever felt like your soul is crying inside.  That's how I feel now, and its very painful.  Lonely, cold & empty inside of joyful happiness, warmth & the feeling of being loved.  This place has taken those things and tries to take a persons' soul before death.  And here I constantly fight away being taken out of existence.  Even though its taken most and driven away all my love ones and friends and after all making utmost difficult dealing with this situation alone and coping with the loneliness.  Therefore I sit here to write while praying my anxious cry be heard.  And attract the attention of you whom eye sight its crossing now that I hope and would love to hear from you and just as the good Lord seen fit bring support, comfort, and relative communication to one another along with happiness causing better acquaintance.  Hope to hear from you soon!

JAMES COPELAND   My name is James E. Copeland. I'm 5'11" tall, 190 pounds, auburn hair and blue/gray eyes. I was born in Los Angeles, California. I was arrested July 1979, which means I've been locked up for half of my life on this charge. I enjoy classic rock & roll music (late 1960's to late 1970's), reading almost any type of books and watching action and comedy movies. I also like to go hiking and camping, but I don't get much chance of doing that anymore. FRANK COSEY   My name is Frank Cosey.  I am an inmate on Death Row at the Louisiana State Penitentiary.  Which is called Angola State Prison.  I've been here on Death Row since Sept .96  I'll talk about that more later on in the letter.   I am very lonely and desperate here on Death Row and hoping that I can get me a Female penpal if possible.  But at this point and time (which time could be my worst enemy now) I'll just would like to correspond with someone in what we call the Free World.  I've been lock-up for over 13 yrs now and my family has taken and turn in life on me since I been here on Death Row.  They all put me in the mind of a mail carrier.  Because they all have they own route in life now.  Cause I have not heard from them in a long time.  I got arrested in July of 90 and went to trial in 96 around May or June.  And I got sentence in Sept. of 96 and the same day I got sentence I came to Death Row.  This is a desperate call for help on a penpal cause I'm just about at the end of my rope with my insanity.  This is how you could write to me.

CLARENCE HARRIS JR.  I don't know too much about computers except for what I hear and see on TV with the Discovery channel.  I've only been here for one year and so far, I only been writing to family members.  I am interested in meeting new people and making new friends who will stand by me during these troublesome times.  So I guess I better say a few words about myself.  I'm a black male, age 37, like to do some good reading of good novels. DONALD TILLEY  My name is Donald R. Tilley, and I am 38 years old. This is my first time in trouble, let alone prison, so writing and looking for a pen pal is very new to me. However I'm looking for someone on a Christian basis, but who is not so spiritual that they are not any earthly good. I would like them to be someone I can confide in, as well as them being able to also. Since I've been incarcerated my interests have changed drastically from being sports oriented to becoming more of a book worm. One of my desires is to be one of the greatest Bible teachers. Even before this crisis in my life, I had studied at Union Baptist Seminar in New Orleans, LA, where I was working on a doctrine degree.  So, someone female that is in the same age range, give or take several years, with common interests, or a person that needs a true friend, that I can be a great encouragement to, would be great also.
