WILLIAM JONES William Thomas Jones, the person you are reading about on this
webpage is a person, a man, a loving son to a wonderful mother. Just because
I'm in prison on death row for a crime I didn't commit don't make me any
different than most of you my dear readers. Yes, I'm in a confined area, locked
in a cell and watched 24 hours a day, but my life hasn't always been spent
like this. I was raised by a single parent, a mother, named Rosie Lee Jones,
in the steel mill city of Pittsburg, Pa. The paintings and poems you will
read and see on this page are inspired by my life experience in and out of
prison. I was born in 1955 in the city of Memphis, Tenn, the tenth child
out of eleven. I grew up learning from the streets. I was a high school drop
out, I did drugs, I drank alcohol and I also sold drugs. As a teenager, I
went to jail a few times for drinking and joy riding in cars that didn't belong
to me. I was also arrested for other things in that nature, but I managed
to stay out of serious trouble. I was mostly into music back then and
I am still into it today. I would hang out with a few of my buddies
but I wasn't a criminal by todays' standards. I also kept a small time
job. I wasn't a gang banger and I'm still not one. I'm not a violent
person I treat all people with the respect I want to be treated with. I think
I have a big heart and a deeply sensitive soul. Aithought I'm not well educated,
I have a lot of common sense. As I sithere on death row writing this message
for the webpage, I realize common sense can't help the hurt that's in my
heart when I wake up all alone in this little cell. This type of life is very
different from all the experiences I've gone through thIs is hell. The only
bright spot is when I get a letter from my friends and love ones. Pontiac

Correctional Center Death Row Unit. I've been on death row since
October 1979. I'm 5'6 1/2" tall, weigh 180 Lbs. I have brown hair &

Personal
History: Born in Chicago, IL. 1957. Youngest of five
children. High School dropout by 16; proud to now be able to say I'm a autodidact
(self taught) man. I'm a J.F. Kennedyphile. Do much of personal legal work
on my case to assist my Lawyer, when I can afford to obtain the legal books.
Enjoy meeting new people, most definitely women 25 & Up. Still attempting
to research long running family rumor handed down by maternal grandfather
of supposedly being a direct descendant of one time Emperor/King of the Austro-Hungarian
Empire, Franz Jozsef. Supposedly my maternal grandfather was 4th or 6th
in line to the throne after Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand. Only drawing blanks
on pertinent information. Seems nobody wants to either admit nor deny such
a claim. Enjoyed traveling before untimely incarceration. Presently am in
Federal Court with case; last shot at saving life, proving innocence, and
hopefully obtaining freedom. If you're interested in getting

"A02120" and I'm here on death row in Menard Illinois, 62259 in the U.S.A.
. I am single 6 foot even Afro-American Male on death row.
52 years old, Very much into the arts as I am an artist. Like all
sports and working out. Like keeping up with news and happenings all
around the world. Love reading just about all material.
Like Politics and Law. Believes in God and Christ. I've
been on death row alone time since 1981. My case went all the way
to the U.S. Supreme Court, and on a 9 to 0 vote they sent it back to the
Federal District Court.
That's where I'm at now waiting
for a decision any day or time now. My issues are me being innocent
and also that I was framed and tried by a corrupt Ex-Judge named "Thomas
Maloney" who is now himself in Federal Prison serving 16 years himself for
being corrupt, taking bribes at te time that I was tried before him.
People all around the world have been hearinmg about Illinois death row.
12 guys who were innocent, alreaday have been released and I expect to soon
be another one. There also will in the future be even more because
Illinois has locked up a lot of innocent people on death row.Anyway I hope
I will meet a Mature understanding person who would like to correspond.

To Whom It May Concern
; As a American born Latino, I have suffered the slings and arrows of this
thing called hatred and racism, since birth. I feel it my duty to
say to this state, and hope the country and the world will also pay attention.
Be well aware of exactly where the taxpayers money of Illinois is going
when it comes to the job of hiring prison guards, employing judges and or
prosecutors. If you think racism exists only with the KKK, skinheads,
etc...you are sadly mistaken. The penal system in the state of Illinois
is replete with racists that take out their hatred and racist views on any
and all inmates; people that have falled victim to the judicial system
gone out of control. This cannot be ignored any longer. But I
need your help in bringing this matter to the attention of the people of
this fine state; and hope pressure will be applied from the world body for
America to mend its own fences immediately, before judging another country.
If you do, as I hope, decide to publish this article, please be advised that
I would be much appreciative if you were to be so kind as to include my complete

HOWARD WILEY My name is Howard "Sonny" Wiley.
I am presently incarcerated at the Pontiac Correctional
Center. I am 52 years of age, 6'2½, weight 220 lbs. I have been
married once and I have a son and daughter. I am a Shoe Repairman by trade
and I also design and make shoes. I am into body building and weight lifting,
but the majority of my time spent here on Death Row is spent vigorously challenging
the illegal, suspicious, unbelievable, but yet irrefutable occurrences which
resulted in
my
arrest, conviction and death sentence. It is my hope that through
the establishment of a solid line of communication we will develop an inexpressible
comfort of feeling safe to communicate our thoughts and
feelings, having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words. But to speak
from the heart with truth and sincerity. I do not have much to
offer other than my time, thoughts, feelings, and commitment
to be authentic in capacity I seek friendship which among other things,
are about understanding and trying to balance your life harmoniously with
another persons life. It is being open to change, growth
and challenges. It is important and to the interest of both
of us that we meet on the same level. This is so because a
meeting of the minds will have to precede any advancement
of the
establishment of a trusting and mutually awarding relationship. The question
is whether we will be able to overcome the malicious efforts and forces
that divide us and be able to put group interest before personal petty prejudice
